“The Litàn garden, as the grandfather of the current owners called this plot, which came back to life in 2000 when the Cevasco family decided to recover the now abandoned vineyards in the Municipality of Riomaggiore, in the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In a context of such rare beauty, it is difficult not to get excited when you walk among the vines of this winery.
After having overcome the impervious terraces with the famous "cogwheel train", always facing the sea in one of the most spectacular stretches of coast in Italy, you reach the vineyard, among the most impervious of all in terms of altitude, practically overlooking on the sea!
With dedication, passion and great effort, everything here is done manually and by hand: the steepness of the slope does not allow the use of any mechanical means.
Great wines are born here, including the famous Sciacchetrà, a rare Slow Food Presidium, produced by only four wineries and here the great aromatic, fresh, Mediterranean and highly balanced whites are born.
In 2010, in Val di Vara, among the green hills just above the Cinque Terre, the company also started a small production of red grapes, in an area ideal for viticulture where the good temperature range between day and night It allows you to obtain red wines with an excellent aromatic range. The cultivation method is all natural.
