CA' DI FRARA - Wines of great quality and respect for the environment
An excellent production respecting the environment
The company was founded over 100 years ago, exactly in 1905, in the municipality of Mornico Losana, in the hamlet of Casa Ferrari (in local dialect Ca' di Frara), in an area of splendid hills sheltered from the eastern and western winds, a basin with a mild microclimate in winter and uniformly warm and ventilated in summer.
The perfectly chalky and calcareous soils have suggested the planting of Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and White vineyards in the area of the Municipality of Oliva Gessi while the tradition of red vines has found a more suitable habitat in the lands owned by the Company located in the Municipality of Mornico Losana where we find Pinot Noir, Croatina and Barbera.
The desire for the absolute valorization of the product is the result of the maximum respect for environmental sustainability aimed at reducing CO2 emissions to a minimum. All the owned vineyards have strict protocols in favor of natural cultivation and fungicide treatments are controlled and reduced to a minimum with non-polluting products. The grapes obtained are harvested exclusively by hand.
The wines of the estate have been featured in the most authoritative and prestigious sector guides for years and are without a doubt part of the Italian wine heritage of excellence. The high quality of the wines is demonstrated by the numerous awards from specialized critics.
The range of wines of the Ca' di Frara company is wide and varied, capable of satisfying the needs of the most demanding consumers.
